Spring Tree Planting

Spring gives way to the softer, greener side of farm life. We are thankful to welcome back the growing season, promote sustainability and grow new roots and traditions. If have you visited the farm in the winter you've likley braved a bit of Pacific Northwest weather and truimphantly cut your own Christmas Tree-- bravo! Each tree cut during the holiday season takes many years to grow and replanting is key in replentishing the tree population.

Cleberate Spring with us! Become part of the replanting cycle. We love welcoming our community to choose & cut homegrown Christmas trees during the holiday season and we are happy to invite you back to the farm for Earth & Sky Farm's 3rd Annual Spring Tree Planting Day 9:30-11:30am Sat, March 7th.

Friends of the farm are invited to get involved, learn about tree farming and get their hands a little dirty planting fledgling Noble Fir trees. Baby trees are easy to plant when the earth is soft. Children especially love learning about the tree life cycle and are welcome to join with appropriate adult supervision. Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves and gardening spade, dress for the weather and to RSVP.

We are happy to provide complimentary coffee, tea and breakfast snacks for our volunteer tree planting team. We appreciate the support and look forward to seeing you!
