Earth & Sky Farm is a 4.5 acre, historic family farm located in Oregon City, Oregon.

2025 SEASON HOLIDAY POP UP

Join us in Astoria, Oregon for a holiday pop up featuring evergreen trees and wreaths for sale at Fort George Brewery. This debut Beer Tree Fest will be hosted December 6th 12-6pm. No tickets are required. All ages welcome.

In 2009, three generations of our family put down roots at Earth & Sky Farm. Long before we arrived, the farmhouse was home to astronomer Harold Haggart and his family, set amidst a hazelnut orchard. A visionary of his time, Haggart designed and built a professional telescope and constructed a personal “Oregon Trail Observatory” viewing dome atop the very farmhouse we now call home. In 1989, the Haggart Observatory was opened to the public in a limited capacity, later stewarded by the Rose City Astronomers on the Clackamas Community College campus.

What began for us as a fledgling Christmas tree operation grew into nearly a decade of holiday u-cut seasons and the opportunity to partner with brewery friends, supplying fresh fir tips each spring for seasonal favorites like Fort George Magnanimous IPA.

Our children grew up amid the bustle of tree-sale weekends, later retreating to the quiet of the woods during the pandemic years, when we carved out walking and biking paths. Over time, we began transitioning acres of evergreen monoculture into more diverse plantings, including a cider apple orchard and garden, while setting aside space for rewilding.

Today, ongoing ecological restoration has transformed the landscape into a thriving mosaic of biodiversity. Birds, bunnies, deer, fungi, and countless other species now call the farm home—and we’re honored to share this place with them.
